- Resumo:
Rebar truss ribbed slabs are composite elements made with a cold-formed lipped channel section as permanent shuttering connected to a rebar truss by plastic connectors. Four-point bending tests recently reported in the literature have shown that the steel profile fully interacts with the concrete at bottom ribs, grating greater load capacity as well as ductility when compared to reinforced concrete ribbed slabs. Whereas experimental data is in accordance with theoretical composite design procedure for the ultimate limit-state, the load-displacement behavior could not be totally predicted by the models found in the literature. As such, this article seeks to adjust the effective moment of inertia proposed by Costa et al. (2021) to improve the analytical results of the six testing samples analyzed herein.
